F. Skiddy von Stade is the President and founder of F.S. von Stade & Associates. Prior to founding F.S. von Stade & Associates in 1995, Mr. von Stade was Head of the New York office of The Oxbridge Group, an executive search firm specializing in the financial services industry. Before becoming an executive search specialist, Mr. von Stade rose through the ranks from Junior Associate to Vice President at Alexander and Alexander, an international insurance brokerage firm.  His excellent performance was rewarded as he became the youngest employee invited to join the Summit Club, a membership he held during the last three years with the firm. Mr. von Stade graduated from the University of Vermont. An outdoorsman and conservationist, he serves as an advisor to the Board of Trustees of the Wildlife Conservation Society.

David Quigley is a Managing Director with F.S. von Stade & Associates. He is involved with all aspects of the business and calling effort for investment banking, private equity, hedge funds and asset management.  Mr. Quigley joined the firm in 1998, as a Senior Associate, after 11 years at Marsh, Inc., the international insurance brokerage division of Marsh & McLennan Companies. As a Vice President at Marsh, Mr. Quigley was a team leader in the Casualty Division working closely with private equity groups and the merger teams at the investment banks. Mr. Quigley was also a member of the MMC Candidate Recruiting and Selection Committee, and is a graduate from Lake Forest College.

Mary Gay Townsend is a Managing Director with F.S von Stade & Associates. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Ms. Townsend was a Principal at Rhodes Associates, a New York based executive search firm, where she specialized in real estate, specifically in acquisitions, finance and investment banking. Mary Gay had also worked for the search firm of Smith Hanley Associates, where she was actively engaged in starting up their equity research efforts. Ms. Townsend holds a B.A. in Economics and American Studies from George Washington University and a Grand Diploma Culinary Arts from the French Culinary Institute.

William R. Ziglar is a Managing Director with F.S. von Stade & Associates. He brings a diverse financial services background to business development and candidate screening. Prior to the search business, Mr. Ziglar worked with VCFA, a secondary private equity fund. Previously, Mr. Ziglar was Managing Director of Indosuez Capital where he helped build and manage a $3 billion portfolio. In addition to management responsibilities, Mr. Ziglar originated senior and subordinated debt financings for middle market leveraged buyouts and sourced, evaluated and managed private equity co-investments, private equity fund investments and collateralized debt obligations. Mr. Ziglar’s prior experiences include merchant banking, leveraged finance and capital markets positions at Gleacher & Co. and Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Ziglar has an M.B.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Bob D'Haene is the Director of Research and has been working with F.S von Stade & Associates for almost ten years. He graduated from Webster University in St. Louis, MO with a degree in fine arts. When he's not leading the research team he can be found involved in many cultural art projects through out New York.

Jason Williams joined the F.S. von Stade & Associates team in 2005 as a Research Associate and works on investment banking, hedge fund and private equity searches.  Originally from Baltimore, MD, Jason holds a B.A. in Theatre and English from The University of Virginia.

Michael Gulker joined F.S. von Stade & Associates in 2006 as a Research Associate.  He engages in executive searches for hedge funds, private equity groups, and investment banks.  Prior to joining F.S. von Stade & Associates he worked on two widely publicized legal cases for the Law Offices of Edward W. Hayes, P.C.  Mr. Gulker graduated from Yale in 2005 with a B.A. in History. He complemented his studies by playing on the Varsity Baseball team, and was selected as the First Team All-Ivy Third Baseman for the 2003 season.

Alix Connors joined F.S. von Stade & Associates in the fall of 2007 as a research associate. With a concentration in the financial services sector, she engages in hedge fund, private equity, and investment banking searches and drives various aspects of the search process including: search strategy formulation, candidate sourcing/development, and client interaction. Prior to joining the FSVS team, she spent nearly four years at OppenheimerFunds in their eCommerce department doing online marketing and sales. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2003 with a B.A. in French and communications.

Ellie MacColl joined F.S. von Stade & Associates in the spring of 2007 as a Research Associate. With a concentration in the financial services sector, she engages in hedge fund, private equity, and investment banking searches and drives various aspects of the search process including: search strategy formulation, candidate sourcing/development, and client interaction. Prior to joining the FSVS team, she worked in Public Relations for the fashion label, BCBG Max Azria and also worked for Sotheby's within their Marketing group. Ellie graduated from Trinity College in 2004 with a B.A. in Art History.
